Privacy Policy
What Forempt stores, why it stores it, and the controls you have.
Account data
Forempt stores your email address, display name, password hash, recovery-code hash, account status, subscription identifiers, security events, and timestamps needed to operate and protect your account. Forempt never stores your raw password or full payment-card number.
Workspace content
Forempt stores the shelves, notes, uploaded reference files, recipes, tasks, generated prompts, and settings you choose to save. Each account uses a separate application database and file root. The current service does not automatically send that content to an AI provider.
Payments
Stripe processes checkout, billing, and the customer portal. Forempt receives identifiers and subscription events needed to activate or change access. Stripe handles payment-card data under its own privacy policy.
Operational data
Forempt records limited security and operational events such as sign-in attempts, account creation, checkout state, subscription changes, exports, and deletion requests. Product measurement uses event counts and does not collect the contents of prompts, shelves, or uploaded files.
How data is used
Data is used to provide the workspace, authenticate you, enforce quotas and subscriptions, prevent abuse, deliver account messages, support exports and deletion, maintain backups, and troubleshoot the service. Forempt does not sell personal information or use private workspace content to train public AI models.
Retention and deletion
You may export your account at any time. Closing an account signs it out immediately and queues active workspace data for permanent removal after fourteen days. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backup snapshots until those snapshots age out of the rolling backup schedule.
Service providers
Forempt may use hosting, encrypted backup, email-delivery, and payment providers only as needed to operate the service. Access is limited by role and technical controls. Forempt does not make HIPAA, FERPA, SOC 2, or similar compliance claims.
Your choices
You can download your account, close it from Settings, cancel renewal through the billing portal, or request privacy help at support@forempt.com. We may verify the request before changing or disclosing account data.
Changes
Material privacy changes will be posted with a revised effective date. If a change materially expands how private workspace content is used, Forempt will provide notice before that use begins.
